28 missions over France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. One flight over 400 holes in A/C from antiaircraft fire. All gas tanks leaking. No radio equip. Got back on another flight target area. Looked like 500 flies in gallon jug--planes going in every direction. Invation of Normandy seemed like island of England vibrated from planes taking off and landing.
