Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA) 19 March 1945. OSS mission on 25th BG A26 plane to Munster, Germany to deliver a spy (called a CHISEL insertion mission). Crashed in moor near Bramshe, Germany, just north of destination. . Had served on B-18s earlier helping calibrate the newly installed RADAR system on the West Coast. Memorial at Neupre, Belgium
