Piriac-sur-Mer, France | 23 November 1942 | Unable to exit aircraft and died when it crashed. |
Buried |
La Baule-Escoublac, France | Originally buried by the Germans in the English Cemetery at Escoublac, France. After the war his remains were moved to the Brittany American Cemetery at St. James, France. However, the American Battle Monuments Commission does not currently show him as being in that cemetery. It seems most probable that his remains were repatriated to the United States after the war. |
