Charles P Stein
MilitaryShot down 11 September 1944 on 9th mission over Czechoslovakia. Prisoner of War (POW). Stalag Luft IV. On 6 February 1945 was evacuated from camp and until end of war walked around countryside trying to keep out of either Russian or allied control. Liberated by 104th Division in Bitterfeld, Germany. Spent next 7 months in hospital.
