Military ROLL OF HONOURCarl Olson was shot down 16-Feb-43 in B-17F 42-5058 'Hun Hunter' while serving as Ball Turret Gunner. Aircraft was shot down upon return from a mission to St. Nazaire, France. No burial record could be located. It is possible that he baled out of the aircraft over water and was lost in the sea. Killed in Action (KIA).
