Arthur Sugas
Military ROLL OF HONOURShot down by German aircraft on 17-Aug-43 in P-47C 41-6372, 56FG/63FS while performing bomber escort support for the withdrawl B-17s that had attacked Schweinfurt, Germany. The aircraft crashed near Wolder, Holland and 1LT Sugas was Killed in Action.
Initially burried at the general cemetery Tongerseweg, Maastricht, the Netherlands and later at the American Cemetery, Margraten, the Netherlands. His remains were repatriated after the war and burried at the Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Buried at the Margraten cemetery on 10 July 1945. In 1949 his remains were repatriated to the USA.
