Aaron A David
Military ROLL OF HONOURS/Sgt David was killed in action on 8 October 1943 when his B-17 Flying Fortress aircraft 42-5864 "Piccadilly Lily" was hit by flak and exploded following the release of their bombs over Bremen, Germany.
Six members of the crew, including David, were killed in the accident. Eye witnesses reported that David's parachute failed to open, or that he was blown from the aircraft when it exploded.
