Notes: A mix of 668 fighters from 8th Air Force provides escort: 144 P-38s, 277 P-47s and 247 P-51s. In addition IX Fighter Command furnishes 102 P-38s from 370th Fighter Group and 474th Fighter Group; and 100 P-51s from 354th Fighter Group and 363rd Fighter Group.Only 8th Air Force fighters are shown in table. Claims are bundled for all fighters and include 1-0-4 on the ground.
