Revisions
Lee confirmed that he is in the photo in 2015. He passed away July 2016 age 94.
LeRoy flew 6 missions with Cameron, 5 as Engineer/Top Turret Gunner. Lee also is pictured in a crew photo on page 53 of the book The 44 Bomb Group in World War II, by Mackay and Adams. I'm not sure why the personnel in that crew photo are not identified but comparing photo 11 in this collection with the front row of the crew photo definitely identifies Cameron and Divinney. I have a photo of Lee taken in uniform ca.1944 from my family archive that confirms this photo.
Thomas Winter, nephew of LeRoy.
Connected up to airman Leroy R Winter's record from information provided by Thomas Winter.
