From pilot training in Coleman, Greenville, and Eagle Pass, Texas, these chaps all flew together with the 353rd Fighter Group/ 351st Fighter Squadron. From L to R Lt. George S. Montgomery, Lt. Walter E. Murphey, Lt. John M. Nickelbur, and Lt. Billy J. Murray. They spent almost two years together during the war and survived.
