P-51D 44-15230 was assigned to pilot Percy C O'Quinn. He named it after his wife, Lillie Mae. The aircraft was lost on 12 Dec 1944 after its engine caught fire 20 miles east of Manston, Kent. Lieutenant O'Quinn bailed safely and returned to base.
