B24H 42-52530, flew with the 791st Sqdn, 467th BG, 2nd Air Division, out of Rackheath, England. Shown is the nose art, Bugs Bunny What's Up, Doc on the early war Olive Drab paint scheme. Armour plate covers part of the rabbit art work indicating the nose art was on the ship from the beginning (well, it's also visible in another picture of this ship as it was being flown to England from the US for combat missions. This ship was lost on 13 August 1944, on the 467th BGs' 98th mission.
