Crashed 40 miles off the coast of Portugal, Corrubedo, Province of A Coruna, south of Cape Finistere, on ferry flight from Florida to UK after losing an engine. 2nd LT Lee W. Rice, pilot. Crew saved except S/Sgt Joseph Wagner.
