Original 466th BG aircraft transferred out on arrival in the UK; assigned Feb 44 to 93rd BG, 329th BS. By the end of Apr 44, it was transferred to 446th BG, 704th BS. It was struck by an RAF Short Stirling which hit a ditch on landing at Bungay 12 Jul 1944.
Crashed and burned 25 Oct 44 at Ainsdale, near Southport, Lancashire, on a flight to Woodvale, Lancashire, while being used as a "passenger and baggage haul" plane to carry crews to a rest home; salvaged 26 - 30 Oct 44.
