Olson KIA). Battle-damaged Hamburg 17 January 1945 with Ira F. Smith, Co-pilot: Robert D. Wilcox, Navigator: William D. Nicholson, Bombardier: Howard E. Simon, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Harold F. Hoffman, Radio Operator: Robert C. Scott, Ball turret gunner: Haskell L. Ray, Waist gunner: Julian E. Anderson,Tail gunner: William H. Everly (9 Interned in Sweden - INT);. Flak put out engine #3, force-landed Bulltofta, Sweden. Missing Air Crew Report - MACR 11728. Repaired & returned to the UK. Flown back to the USA Bradley 1 August 1945; to Independence 3 August 1945, then to Reconstruction Finance Corporation (sold for scrap metal in USA) Kingman, Arizona 10 December 1945.
