B-17 Flying Fortress
First flew at Seattle 27-Jun-39; delivered Wright Fd for armament testing 2-Aug-39; others before West Palm Beach, Fl. 28-Sep-42; Hendricks, Fl with Dan Culver crash landed eight miles ENE of base 22-Oct-42, after apparently losing control; Written off 2-Dec-43. this aircraft never served in combat and was never posted to the UK.
