43-6375
P-51B-5-NA 43-6375 was assigned to the 354FG/353FS of the 9th Air Force at Boxted (AAF Station 150), UK. On 13-Dec-1943 the aircraft, piloted by 1LT Buford M. Eaves, was dispatched with other P-51s of the 354th FG to provide escort to bombers attacking Bremen (Kiel), Germany. The Group was operating under control of VIII Fighter Command at the time.
