P-47 Thunderbolt
P-47 Thunderbolt aircraft of the 83rd Fighter Squadron, 78th Fighter Group at Duxford. The middle aircraft is 43-25528 HL-H 'Noamie Vee' while the nearest aircraft is probably 42-28518 HL-C "Green Hornet flown by Capt Robert T Green.

Initially assigned to the 78th Fighter Group, Lt. Peter W Klaassen made a belly landing at Duxford on 5th September 1944. Upon repair, this aircraft was reassigned to the 36th Fighter Group 23 Fighter Squardron and was lost on the 19th March 1945.
